Some hobby shops have the brass tubing. I use 3/32" which has a 1/16" ID & I also have 1/8" tubing if the hole is too big which the 3/32" fits inside. You can file it to make the tubing fit. I also use carbide drill bits to drill the holes out but be careful. File them round first or you will break the carbide bit because carbide is hard but brittle. It will tighten the pivot up & the blade won't hit the sides of the scales. Just make sure you drill straight so that the blade closes evenly between the scales.
