    Default J.A Henckels 35.

Beautiful razor. Real Solingen craftmanship. This blade looks bigger than it actually is. It is 13/16 but it looks like 7/8 at least. The tang is very narrow and it’s fool the eye. Unfortunetely the blade is very thin and i couldn’t remove all of pitting. It was just like working on safety razor blade. Anyway it turn out quite ok. Bog oak and aluminium scales, pearl acrylic wedge, nickel- silver pins and stainless steel washers.

Nicely done. Blade looks like a bellied hollow?

Very understated restore. To my eye it looks very clean.

Thanks. BobH, maybe a liitle bit. Anyway, it's so thin that i was worried that i will break it on some stage. Like a safety razor blade

Know what you mean by thin and the worry about cracking it. If you can feel a slight bulge running longitudinally on both sides in the grind about 1/3 the way up from the blade edge it is bellied. That is there to strengthen extra hollow ground blades. That should turn out to be a very nice shaving and noisy razor.

Awesome sauce! You did a GREAT job. And, that bog oak came out super cool. Two thumbs way up!

Very nice. The bog oaks goes really well with the razor and I like how you left it rough.

Really nice job all round there Rob, scales, pinning, liners and, of course the blade looks like a good shaver.
My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

I like that. It is difficult with the very thin blades. I have gone to far before, chasing the pitting and the blade wound up so thin and flexible that I just threw it out. Sometimes the pitting is the best solution.
