You've done a really nice job of bringing the Filly back to life, this is only my opinion and in no way a criticism of your restore and fine effort I don't feel the etching or goldwash that's left is of any worth or adds anything to the razor I would have removed it myself.

I was thinking, deciding myself weather it is better to have a little rusty etching or a shiny blade ... but I didn't get to a definite conclusion

Magnificent restore!!! I would leave the etching too... Just as a reminder of what you brought it back from.
Smarter than I look or, not as dumb as I look. Whichever you prefer.
