    Default P (heart) Ford

    Hi all,

This is the second str8 razor of this manufacturer in my collection.

The first one has already been presented here:

    http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...rn-scales.html

This one is 6/8” wide, wedge type. The original horn scales have been unfortunately broken, so I decided to make new ones in a very special wood. Lignum vitae oka Guaiacum, a beautiful wood which is so rich in oils and resins that it is absolutely waterproof. The shape of the scales has been copied after the very old horn scales of a stub tail razor.

    Thanks for watching.

Very nice work. . Pitchford seems a bit of an enigma as to previous threads. I have an all original one in pressed leather scales and a really nice half-rattler which is lovely.

+1 Vaga...very nice work indeed! I also have a 'Pitchford'. A shoulder-less 7/8 blade and it's one of my favorites.

Let's make a Pitchford thread of this! Bring them out! (With Vaga's permission?) Let's see em!
Otherwise, someone needs to start a club! Is there already one?
    Mike! Start a club!

Nice work. I'm not usually a fan of wood but those scales are beautiful.
