My friend; Those are some Very Classy Looking Scales!!! :
'
I'd bet Good Money that with 'Even' holding the razor in hand I doubt that anyone could tell that you took several 'chunks' of scale and made such a Beautiful Set for one to hold in their hands/they would think that it was made that way from the Get Go!
You Get An;
Atta Boy!
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

My Thanks, Roy! Looks like a few of my 'Atta Boy's' have come back to me here!
Being a vintage guy, I do try to make things look as if they may have come that way. The liners and scale bits are vintage, salvaged components. The cutting, shaping, re-purposing of them in a different way is something I enjoy doing.
So (Very!) much hand sanding and shaping involved in this one is not for profit, but enjoyment.
I don't make scales and respect those that do a proper job. A razor should look proper, to me anyway!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

An excellent solution to handle. Of course a lot of work, but the result is excellent, liked the photo of the whole process.
