    Default Waterville FBU

I would say this one was fresh off the bench, but it is still there. Going to bypass the honing line and go straight to the stones with it.
Unusual, I believe, an 8/8 Waterville For Barber's Use. Nice black horn antique scales and collars donated by a long-ago broken-bladed Sheffield razor. Had to go at the lead wedge a bit and install an aluminum pop-rivet pivot bushing to gain fitment. The scales are quite 'full'. I am liking it already, hope you guys do as well!

I saw one for sale recently, blade only, however I am trying to streamline and organize. I think it looks great in your collection. That is pretty special treatment getting to jump to the front of the honing line. Enjoy.

Wow! I finally beat it through the 1k using Bruno's slurried Norton trick. Now on to a kindler, gentler 1k Naniwa.
