Thread: D.C. Halsted 9/8 FBU

I posted this the other day in the Razor forums looking for information on the maker. Looks like a tough one to find. So here she is wearing some pretty translucent horn scales. The scale coloring in brown with smokey gray streaks that look much nicer than the pictures show. I have no idea what the original scales looked like so I went with what you find on Wade & Butcher FBU's. They are .110 thick with a lead wedge and domed brass collars and pins. The 1 13/16 blade just got some light buffing to remove some surface corrosion and scratches. I did not want to hurt the blade stamp. Another fun restore.
