Coming from a man with the most beautiful Japanese razors, that means a great deal!

Four Pages! And well worth the attention.. That is a serious piece of hardware, and beautiful! Im envious.
Now Ive got another SR goal. Hunt for the Pearly Iwasaki!!! hehehe
Great job on the re-scaling, I can imagine it must have been a bit stressful... to possibly break those scales in the process..

Thanks, MikeT! As to a one-piece mother of pearl scaled Iwasaki, You may have already found the only one!
As to pinning it, was not too bad. Was afraid of the pivot end.....Now that honing and stropping has ensued, the pivot has loosened a bit.
    Needs tightening. NOW, I'm nervous!

Sorry I had to put that in there..
Long day. Belgium ale. Cigar. Oh yeah. And an empty "quiet" house... I would shave but I don't drink and play with deadly sharp objects. Good times

The tamahagane ones are super hard . They take a lot of work if edge restoring but shouldn't fail to deliver.
