For me there is not much razor about it, just saying. There are vids of people shaving with everything from rocks, axes, and knives so not arguing it can be done but why bother. A razor is a tool used for daily shaving the others are not and have other uses.

I'll grant you that the Germans refer to a SR as a "raisermesser" roughly translated "shaving knife" . I can see making it as being fun but from a users pov there is not much in it as a practical daily use razor.
