Thanked: 3226Might be a tough sell to a Canadian as butterfly knives are a prohibited weapon in Canada, as far as I know. I doubt you'd sell the courts the idea that it is a razor not a knife.

Cool concept. How does it handle for honing/stropping/shaving?

That looks like it would be tricky to shave with......
I wouldn't trust myself using that.....
Very cool looking!
All the fun things are illegal here in Canada.........
lolIs it over there or over yonder?

Thanked: 3226Yes on all counts.
While the design is different/cool for a SR I would think it would be difficult to hone, strop and shave with. There is a reason SRs have evolved to look the way they do. They are a specialized tool designed for only one specific job, shaving. It is distinctly separate from a knife design.

Every butterfly knife I ever owned was always really heavy I can't see it being easily controllable although the idea is neat

Thanked: 182bench stropped it i sure that hanging strop woudl be painfluly slow do to not polling over nicely in hand. and that note is what made the shave a hair tricky but really not to bad.. other tricky part was the tang being as wide as the blade itself. so was like shaveig with a knfe but thats what it is. shave itself was good one pass over a week and a half of growth

Thanked: 3226So really it is still a knife not a razor.
