Thanks Andrew...I always appreciate your Superlatives!
Well Bill and Tom...I wish I had a heavy strop made from lead BUT it's just as Phrank describs: a Griffon Strop Aide'
Here's a thread on it: http://straightrazorpalace.com/strop...-pictures.htmlLupus Cohors - Appellant Mors !

Thanks for the link to the lead thing, Mike! I had forgotten it! Gawd, I miss old Neil!

Me too Tom...doesn't seem to be quite the same without him. I had a great conversation with him when I posted that thread. His thoughts convinced me of the effectiveness of the 'leaded strop' and it's been two years of constant use of a great old idea. Funny isn't it...how so many of the old ideas, used for decades and decades are not just viable today, but in many instances preferable. At least that's the way I see it.
He felt the same way about progressive stropping...No surprise there!Lupus Cohors - Appellant Mors !

Another old razor brought back to life by you! Awesome work as always....... Wish that Canadian dollar would rise up and be worth something again..... I'd send some work your way, like yesterday.
I know in the future..... I will be sending some your way.....Is it over there or over yonder?
