    I'd say for a first attempt at hand hammered laminated steel this blade is a huge success!
    To me, the different looks on both sides of the blade give it more character.
    I've said it before, I'm a sucker for shokwood. I absolutely love the scales and color!
    This razor is definitely another home run!!

    The difference is what gives it more than the standard character. I love it.

    Now you know a technique to change things up when you want to. You could even play around with the ratios of hammering from side to side to see how they each turn out. Like 1:4, 1:3, 1:2, 2:3, or 3:4 and see how each affects the final results. You may find that something magical happens.
