I can see that razor with a set of thin & narrow scales in a "fixed blade" style rather than a pivoting straight razor style. I really love the tang.

Cell phone close-up of the hollows of the wootz razor I am working on. The green specs you see are the remnants of the nail polish I used to protect the edge during etching. The pattern is coming out nicely. The final polishing after etching is close to finished.
This is going to be an 8/8 wootz razor based on my ottoman design, with buffalo bone scales.

Of course not
You can even still see parts of the nail polish that was on the edge during the etching phase.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 23Beautiful steel, and nice total package, I really like your style of razor. I would love to get my hands on some wootz to play with and test someday.
