    Simply beautiful in every way!!
I love the grind of the blade and hope to find something similar someday.
The scales remind me of something that I saw when I was a kid in my Grandma's silverware drawer.
    Thanks for sharing.

Jeeeesh that's not bad for a guy with 4 thumbs and a prehensile tail :<0) Will be waiting for the post card size, heavily edited book on the rocking x stroke on a 2X2" bevel setter. Personally I like the oval river stone for warped blades but that is MY secret weapon

Sure ain't nobody making them kind of scales anymore and glad your saving them. Cup of tea or not they are special. Nice work as usual !

    I cannot seem to multi-quote?

Thanks, Pete! Indeed those who made scales such as this made the silver in Grandma's drawer!

I appreciate that, Pups! If I had an oval river stone, I would have put it to work!
At some point, I was eyeing a disc sander!

Well, I'll be typing John Clarke & Son into the ebay search for a while now. You're another guy here at SRP that we should be proud to have posting, teaching, and mentoring. Your work in restoration of these old blades is second to no one. Bravo my friend, and I can't wait to see many more encores!

Thank you for the kind words, Andrew. Indeed, we have many here, such as yourself, who humble me by their work and tutorials. Fun to do different things and share.
