Default DC Blades 8/8" Spanish Monkey

    G'day all,
Hot of the bench is a nice new 8/8" plus Spanish Monkey
    Blade: O1 1/4" spine X about 33/32" with a blade edge about 3 1/4" long, and a 2" tail
Buffalo horn scales, copper wedge, brass stacked washers & pins

I forged the blank out from 1/4" X 1" stock
annealed @ 860 degrees then into vermiculite to room temp,
quenched @ 810 degree C in 70 degree canola oil,
tempered 2 hours at 215 degrees,
I aimed for around a 60-62 RC hardness

Honed up and shave tested today, nearly 2 weeks growth gone like a hot knife through butter
    thanks for looking.

    cheers
