Agreed your logo is & should be a representation of your self

My first items I hand engraved my logo on & it looked not to impressive

had a go & made a stamp but found I had to stamp hot steel or get a bad stamp or risk & double stamp from bounce


personally I am settling for pro made stencils & etching my works you can pretty well finish the job then etch before final polish & all done clean with neat lines
I got my etch stencils made by a lad in Aus $70AUD for a 4" * 6" sheet

Yeah I've made three in this batch and there all shorties. I do prefer a shorter razor but just changing thing up really.

Etch is the way to go. Had a stamp, really only works well on aluminium. As for design, mine is my initials squeezed together with a circle around it. you just have to play around with designs until you find something that speaks to you.

Thanks for the input buddy. Seems like the concensus is that etching is the better option all round. Now I need to get artistic and come up with a mark/logo

Second the "year made" suggestion. It would be something if the vintage makers had adopted that practice from the beginning. Ken
