That looks amazing. I'm just wondering about the long term stability especially with changes in humidity, have you seen with past composite scales like that that it is stable?

I think there will no problems. This is all glued together with a strong epoxy (12 hours of drying). Grenadil ist very dense, so the only thing, that might be happen is, that the mammoth get some cracks. But the whole handle is coated with Renaissance Wax, so that the humidity in the air not will be the problem. If the razor will be stored, like a non stainless razor has to be stored, I dont expect any problems.

Nicely done! Did you use a laser or waterjet to cut the join between the mammoth and the wood?

very nice work, as always, I always liked this style of your composite kind of scales that you do, the grenadill and mammoth ivory combo is a good idea !

So the transition was all by hand, that is impressive. Lovely work.
