    Default SanMai with Mammoth/Grenadil

Want to show my latest work. The blade is a 8/8 SanMai with a core from 1.2442 (C 1,15, Si 0,2, Mn 0,3, Cr 0,2, W 1,95) hardened to 62 HRC. The grind is near wedge, to let enough from the pattern.
The handle ist from grenadil wood and mammoth ivory on a tin liner. The wedge is also from mammoth ivory. I´m really happy, how it all come out and hope you like it too.

    The razor is beautiful.
The San Mai damascus is the icing on the cake.
    Everything about it oozes quality.
Anyone would be proud to own this piece.
    Congratulations and enjoy!

Beautifully done all the way around Gabor. The SanMai is a real eye catcher and the ivory flowing over the grenadil is perfect to set off the steel. Nice.

    Absolutely beautiful!

I'm curious about how you made the scales too, but whatever you did sure works.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
