Carbo Magnetic Restoration Round 1
I recently purchased four straight razors in an antique store and plan to restore them one by one. Here is a photo of the four:
The Carbo Magnetic 60 Griffon xx is the third razor in the picture above. Last night I spent a few hours with Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish, some rags and polished the razor. I consider this round 1, because I can see where there is room for improvement. So, I will post another picture when I complete Round 2 of the restoration. I am pleased with Round 1. I welcome any comments or suggestions.
I just noticed the reflection in the blade...it is me holding my iPhone.

You really did some serious polishing in round 1 Whizbang, and the Carbo Magnetic blade already looks great!

Thanked: 12That blade Looks great. I'm with dinnermint, put that one on the stones and get it shaving. That must have been one heck of a polishing session I have one just like it and love it. Awesome work.
