Good as new, or better! I'm so glad you are posting again! Any chance you could tell us more about this "brilliant crocus paste"? (Unless it is a secret recipe LOL!). I bought some crocus cloth off of eBay (and am frankly a little hesitant to apply it to vintage steel until I know more about it), but never heard of the paste.

Thanks! It's a homemade paste made with iron oxide powder, beeswax and paraffin. I use it with a leather wheel as the final polish to get a highly polished mirror finish. I've used crocus cloth quite a bit to get a more softly polished steel or 'glazed' look.

Great job. Is crocus paste as fine as jewelers rouge? What grit level would it be? Thanks.
