    About that bit I'm using... I hadn't meant to be mysterious about it, I just didn't know what it was called. SRP member RoyalCake gave it to me a couple years ago, and the markings are very difficult to read. So all I knew was 'it's my special drill bit'. Not very useful to anyone but me, actually!

    They're high speed drill/countersink bits. Pricey, yes, but for drilling out razor pins, they should last forever. The one I'm using is a #2. Google turns up a lot of hits for drill countersink no. 2.

    First ...Great to see you posting again Zak. 2nd...It's about time you started back restoring the 'Old Guys', and 3rd....as usual beautiful job and tutorial on this wonderful vintage razor.

    Wish we could get together like the old days my friend...10 Pups has really set the shop up nice and we miss you at our get to-gethers!

    Thanks! I miss you guys too! I learned so many neat techniques from you guys and brainstormed even more.

    I've got a handful of other restores I just haven't had a chance to get pictures and writeup on. I should maybe get on that!

    Lovely work amazing
    The drills you use are also sold as center drills to machinists for lathe work
