Barlow was a very good maker and you've done him justice - in particular, your scale making is top drawer. I've got a few of his razors: the best is a very heavy wedge in ivory that shaves beautifully - it also happens to be the most expensive vintage razor I've ever bought.

Thanks for the nice comments everybody, I really appreciate every word! I shaved with it this morning and it was superb. It has a steady weight and the smile is just right, especially for my neck and under my jaw. A very smooth 2-pass shave, not harsh at all as if the edge had a thin protective bubble wrapped around it and the hair just disappeared as it passed over. I'd say it's dialed in right from the get-go.
