Thanked: 35Not quite sure how to reply to this thread, as my excitement is overwhelming I contacted Mike in hopes that he might be able to make me a simply travel strop. I have these two amazing and old(!) Roberts Warranted blades which were gorgeously restored by Karl Johnson. Wouldn't it be great to have a travel strop like George Washington did, which I saw recently at the Mount Vernon museum (Explore the Museum Collections·ÂGeorge Washington's Mount Vernon). The blades might be close to the time period. Mike came up with the most perfect treasure. The woodwork is perfect, the entire thing engineered so well. Quality of the strop itself, the hardware, the beautiful walnut, and the highest quality sock ever! I will treasure this forever Mike and you have made me so extremely happy. Here's to you!!!
