Great work, the streaked horn is beautiful as is the entire package.
Nothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...

The streaked horn is perfect for that blade. Nice save. I agree with sloanwinters, I only have one blade with streaked horn, I may need to remedy that.

Nice razor!
I was admiring a razor here the other day which had a similar grind, but I had no idea what to call it.
Apparently I'm a fan of the saber grind!

Yeah, I didn't know that's what it was called until Glenn told me after I bought a couple of blades from his recent sale, but it fits somehow. Now I'm sure you probably also like the similar rattler grind (another grind designation that can cause some confusion). And you appear to be a fan of The Dude too? I think maybe you're my brother from another mother.

Yeah, I've been on a bit of a buying spree in regard to rattlers, faux framebacks, etc.- basically anything unique looking.
Now as for your name, I assume you're done some hiking in the north GA and Tennessee area? I lived in GA for 3 years and I was up in the mountains all the time. That old Appalachian Trail keeps calling me...
Yes, rattler grinds can be a bit confusing, as can grinds in general. Razor grinds are a very complicated case. You know, a lotta ins, a lotta outs, a lotta what-have-yous. And, uh, a lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head.

"You're outta your element" when discussing razor grinds.
Anyway, yeah, my screen name comes from my 9 years as a Scoutmaster (thankfully behind me-don't even get me started!). The final straw(s) included one boy at summer camp who actually s*$t his pants, and a couple of 13 year olds literally sobbing for their mommas on campouts-I kid you not. I shepherded both my boys through BSA, and did a lot of hiking in the process. Not so much on the AT, but all over Pisgah National Forest and many other places in North Carolina (mostly to remote brook trout streams), the Rockies, all over the UK, Australia, New Zealand-anywhere there are beautiful mountains, I am there for it!

Yeah well, you know, that's just like your opinion, man.
Been to Grandfather Mountain in Pisgah, but it sounds like you were heading to out of the way places which is very cool.
The Rockies and New Zealand are next level, I'd love to see both when I get back in shape.
...and to keep this on topic, saber grinds really tie this thread together.
