Very nice looking blade, but I think the scales would look even better if they were contoured, instead of being flat.

They look too fat, when cut flat, as those are.
They should compliment the work you've done to the blade.

No sense putting on a nice suit, only to wear your work boots. If ya get me.

    Nice looking razor!
Almost a soft barbers notch to the tip. Would make for a safer pass along the jaw.
    Very nice.

A very clean looking razor. Nice job. And i agree on the contouring of the scales. I dont thing your scales are extremely thick. But rounxing the edges would make it look thinner.

Looks great! I like the utilitarian strictly business look. Wish it was full hollow!
The flow of the tang, spine treatment, slightly smiling edge seem most ergonomic. The tip is pleasing as well.
A razor which looks like a razor. Exudes quality in workmanship, IMO.

I like the very modern, yet still classical look.

I am curious about how you constructed the handle. It is a single piece of wood, isn’t it?

It's wood.Wood is impregnated with the desired composition in a vacuum. A whole piece of rectangular blank is cut in the middle and then the shape of the handle is cut.
I made this blank to order. In the beginning, this piece looked like this:

Very nice job on the remake of the scales, not as "clunky" looking

And your blade work is very nice for sure
