    The original scales that came with that razor appear to be bone not ivory.
    Tweedale's Directory has a Joseph Cam first listed in 1833 in Angle Row at the head of South St. By 1841 he was insolvent and a prisoner for debt in York Castle jail. He died 31 October 1846.
