    Beautiful work and a match made in heaven. That material, seems to me, is a mix of space and ocean. I really like it. It reminds me of the “Max” scales I have.

    They sell them as turning blanks, as it's really a site for turners. But you can call and get them to cut them into blanks for a small fee, or cut them yourself. I ended up with about 1/3" blanks, which still needed significant thicknessing on my flat-bed belt sander to get them down. However, they are very soft, so this goes quickly-just have your dust collection going full bore!
