Nice work. How does it strop? The copper stitches on top of the spine look higher than the spine and might be an issue. But I like the look

on the classic strop - not very good, it was necessary to hammer the copper deeper, in French - no problem

In my defense, I can add - the razor was made out of boredom, I wanted something unusual, but I have been doing them for a long time, although not a lot, all the time the same thing just gets boring, I want something ... unusual. On the other hand, she gave me a couple of ideas that can be used on a simple razor, so there will be a continuation over time

A unique design for sure. I give you an A+ for uniqueness.
Inlaying materials in this hard, high carbon steel is not easy but people have done it...I just don't know how!

This has an almost "Industrial" design feel to it.Keep at it, it will evolve over time.

Certainly a novelty. I like it. I find it very cool and unusual. I definitely see what you were going for. Probably be quite popular with that zombie apocalypse fixated crowd. Not sure how much I would use it but it would make a great functional display piece...it is functional isn't it?

Oh sure. If not for this limitation it would be more fun, my fantasy is exuberant
At the expense of the apocalypse you were mistaken, it all started with steampunk, but ... the fantasy played out in the wrong direction

    How do you hone it?

Wouldn't the copper thingies raise the spine off the stone and give you a weird edge angle?

And would the copper thingy react with the steel and produce a chemical reaction?

Or maybe it was meant to never use, but only display.

copper in the place of contact with the stone does not protrude, only higher. If you are worried about a stone, you can stick electrical tape.

copper will definitely react and brass on rivets will be, and steel itself will be with moisture in the air. And all this will end with the razor decaying ... in 500 years, but, unfortunately, neither I nor you will live up to that time, but because - what's the difference? Although can, of course, replace copper with brass or even gold, then the razor will become unusable, and the gold will remain, but shaving will not work the same way as with copper
