    Default StubTail Rebuild

Just finished up a full rebuild
Almost exactly the same thickness on the scales too
The old ones came in at .107” and the new customs left at .102”
Cleaned up and transferred the silver Badge also. That was fun, drilling into a perfectly polished completed front scale😅
The owner decided on any wedge other than lead, so I did a polished Elk Antler wafer
Matched the old outer washer’s look going with domed SS and Brass pins
Honing 1-5-10 Chosera into a Select grade Coticule finish
    Stamped Warrented “Amsterdam”
I guessed it at 1795 give or take

Very sympathetic rebuild Glen. That's lovely work; it requires expertise, skill and knowledge to achieve this level of quality.

Beautiful razor and outstanding work on rebuild. It is hard to believe something that old can still be used for it's intended purpose. Job well done.
