This razor was a struggle to deconstruct. The collars were flattened and everything seemed welded together.

To my suprise the inside of the scales were showing red. This means that they dyed scales red around 250 years ago.

Dying scales Red/Green/Black using olden techniques is something i have been figuring out for a few years now. The recipe is pictured below.

I have yet to restore the edge . Hopefully i can get a good shave from it. I am a little confused at the extra letter on the end of the makers mark...
