Thanked: 13245No regrind, these are Microtomes they were not made for shaving they were made for slicing tissue samples for microscopes...
Having some fun myself and others have done a couple of conversions into what have now been lovingly referred to as Micro-sori's
You have to use tape to hone them for use on the face, unlike a true Kamisori there is NO hollow at all on the backside so you have to create that, if you don't the razor will shave, but will feel rather harsh on the face...
They can be honed to a crazy sharp edge, but you have to be very delicate when shaving with them as they are very unforgiving...
