Lazy ???!!! Man, the work you already did is far from lazy.

    'Artisan' is not an exaggeration

That's very nice of you to say. Thank you.

I have noticed you are a sword fan and can enjoy a little polishing work from time to time. You are not alone here

I'd love to see your razor in person, it has a unique attitude on it
Find me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage

With the "vintage " look of the scales the blade fits right in with them. IMHO Some pits/patina give the blade character. I agree with Onimaru, the work you've put into this is far from lazy.

You may be right. What would you think if i were to put a little patina juice on it and darken the blade to a shady gray?

Even a light coat of cold blueing paste would give you an idea & if you don't like it metal polish would get you back to square one.

SRP seems to attract multi talented people. A little sword polishing is about it for me. Would love to be able to do the foundation work but " A man has to know his limitations"

    Yes it would.

I have some navel jelly which I used on a dduck. it's equally reversible, more gray than blue/black. I have two more razors I'm working on so I haven't taken the time to hone this one, etching with jelly is quick and easy, and i like the honing stropping to shine through.

I trult appreciate everyone's kind words. Thanks again for looking it over.
