Frederick Reynolds Wedge
Hi gents,
I recently bought this nice wedge razor here on SRP. The first 3 pictures show how the razor was.
I de-pinned it, sanded it, polish it and re-pinned it. The pitting is not entirely gone, so I haven't achieved a true mirror finish.
This was the first time I ever honed a wedge, although this is not a true wedge, it's a near-wedge!
Here are the pictures, tell me what you think.

You did a fantastic job.....And if it isn't a wedge...it sure does look like one.

I'm so glad you are pleased with it. Just out of curiosity, how much work did you do on the scales? What did you use on them?

Well, after de-pinning, I used a similar product to MAAS (we don't have MAAS here, but I bought some similar product) and rubbed it using a cloth, then using other clean cloth I finished the cleaning/polishing process.
Just out of curiosity , what do you think the material of the scales is? Is it plastic or something else?
