cherry branch scales shumate
I'd like to share some pictures of one of my favorite shavers. I'd love to hear comments and critique on the construction. The blade I know needs some polish. I got a bit ahead of myself; assembling before any finish coats were applied. I been using it as is

I would like to see the scales photographed against a much more neutral background but from what I can tell, they look really nice. Great job!!!

+1 on the rustic look.
How long to season a smaller branch like that ?The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
