Nice one BB. Love the figure in that maple and the 'extreme' taper. Bulbous maximus.

Thanked: 1212Beautiful. For me, it has a sort of '20s "private eye" atmosphere. Probably the smoky look of that maple, in combination with the pins. Outstanding!

Nice looking restoration. The scales are very nice, and I love maple.
Have any of you guys who make scales given any thought to using an old timer's maple stain called "Aqua Fortis?" This is what was used on the old Kentucky rifles....it seems to compliment the figure of maple very, very well.
