Could not have said it better myself. I love the look. I have a few "normal" looking razors, but I have a few coming in that will be a little different. None have this tribal/primative look, and I wish to remedy that situation the moment you decide to sell a few pieces!
Until then, thanks for the eye candy!

Thanked: 735I really like the recurve to the tang/handle.
Overall it is somewhat like my Baldridge custom, as far as being a non-folder at any rate. Love the double spanish point/battle axe look as well!

Thanked: 278Awesome work! It would probably sell for a bundle if ebayed as a razor of indeterminate age but don't do that, keep it with someone who appreciates it for what it is.

The razor shaves very well, check out video. I normally do two N-S passes. The camera kept running out of memory, it is a still camera I used in video mode. I am happy with the way the razor works.

I read somewhere that the ancient Romans used to shave with iron razors that looked like tiny axes. I could never understand how anyone could think that a "tiny ax" shape would make a good razor.
Now I can picture a barber from 300 BC stropping that bad boy up and shaving a legionnaire.
