In my opinion it must be one from the period, when Lauterjung changed to Puma. At this razor was nowhere the Puma head. But it came with a Lauterjung box, if I remember right.
@all: Thank you. This ivory really is a challenge. It is not from sibiria from the perma frost. It was found somewhere here in germany. So it is much more fragile. From the very huge piece I have here, only little parts are useable. On every workstep I´m hoping, that I dont will destroy the scales.

Thanked: 6Beautiful razor. There's something intoxicating about materials that were already thousands of years old before almost all of human history took place.

Have test shaved this baby - very impressive. It´s the most flexible blade, that I until now hold in my hand. Also the blade is singing very clear and loud, even when you only cut armhairs. I think the handle with the brass wedge work here like a amplifier. Exceptional smooth shave. Definitely one of the best razors I know, perhaps even better than my Puma Gold or Filarmonica Nr. 14.
And I have promise it to an other person
But a word is a word...
