Dremel can do that? I have Dremels. Now I have ideas. The grind reminds me of the quarter grind Le Grelots I see for sale now. Only a lot nicer scales and jimps. Great work.

yeah, really? You're doing all of that with a dremel? What are you using to make those jimps? Is that just a 3/4" grinder? I assume then that you're just measuring out the center point of each radius and being REALLY careful to keep them even?

Thanked: 735Yeah, I came *this* close to buying one of those new LeGrelots (I already have one of the older 1/4 grinds), so I decided to try and install my own thumbnotch, as I feel a thumbnotch is one of the finer elements of a great razor.
Now I no longer look for razors that look like what I want, I look for razors that look like they can become what I want. DAs, vintage blades, whatever.
