Thanked: 735NoName Sheffield
Before and after pics of noname Sheffiled wedge blade.
I had tried to incorpaorate the original bone scales, but accidentally broke one...
So...I had to settle for beewing sapele over black acrylic (with the ubiquitous clear acrylic spacer).
And all of my "usual" rework stuff: French point, JumboJimps, thumbnotch.

Thanked: 7Fantastic!
You guys who do restoration are like magicians. I really like this one even though, to my eyes, all the things that would identify the original to me are changed (e.g. I didn't know you could change the jimping and the spike->round). It's a fantastic end product but in no way could I identify it as even related to the original
It's a gorgeous razor, I love the scales!

Dremel?
Dremel can do that? I have Dremels. Now I have ideas. The grind reminds me of the quarter grind Le Grelots I see for sale now. Only a lot nicer scales and jimps. Great work.

yeah, really? You're doing all of that with a dremel? What are you using to make those jimps? Is that just a 3/4" grinder? I assume then that you're just measuring out the center point of each radius and being REALLY careful to keep them even?
Gorgeous!
