Default Dub Duck Special N°1 ~ Original Resurrection

Poor Dubl Duck wasn't looking very healthy. It was send to me for an eventual rescue.

I advised Joe that I could just restore the scales as I didn't believe the blade was going to resurrect that great but to my own disbelief it turned out immaculate. I gave it my total love, dedication and surgical procedures as nothing goes to waste in my house!

The before and after pics speak for themselves.

This is also a good example that with persistance and some work one can revive a lost soul.

Joe, hope you enjoy your rescued baby.

    Brand: Dubl Duck Special N°1
    Grind: Full Hollow
    Width: Just under 5/8

    Total weight: 1.3 Oz
    Total cutting edge: 2.7 inches
    Scales: Original butter scotch plastic

I sanded the scales down with 220 grit, followed by 400, 600, 800 and 1000 wet sandpaper. After that it went on my buffer with some compounds.
