    Default one more thing

    One thing that Oz didn't mention (maybe he didn't know!) was that like dkapp, i bought this razor on eBay as well......only 3 months ago. Even keeping the razor coated with Ballistol didn't help it......good thing Oz is truly a wiz!

    I've not had any problems with mine, but now I'll keep a close eye on it. Mine is about the same age.

    The oil shouldn't have allowed that much rust even in a humid atmosphere.
    New scales were a good idea

    Over here in Bangkok the rain water will remove the paint from buildings and almost literally rip the paint off cars. I wonder what it would do if you rinsed your razor in Bangkok rain water.
