Really nice work. I love those scales and the brass liners are especially nice. I recently tried that after seeing Seraphim's Double Arrows. I miserably failed so I know that isn't easy. Out of curiosity though, what did you finish the scales with? A ploy/stain combo or something else? Great work!

Yes
Here is what I used and the order I used it in. Originally Posted by Trey
- Minwax Red Sedona oil stain
- Circa 1850 Danish oil
- Wash Coat (Shellac)
- Thin CA (5 or so coats)
- Gap Filling CA (2 coats)
- Sanding 320, 600, 1000 grit, acetone wipe
- Minwax spray polyurethane, semi gloss
- Maas
