+1. You definitely have talent, Seraphim, but it saddens this traditionalist to see a W&B cut up.

As I said, I welcome all comments, pro and con. Pretty interesting discussion in my mind.

Interesting thread indeed. I personally have no problem with mods done to ANY razor really and I applaud Seraphim for branching out. Sirshavesalot is pretty spot on in his assessment, but Seraphim's response is also. A dremel is not a precise tool to do good work with IMO and it will always LOOK like a dremel did this stuff. So the mods done to these razors in that way are kind of limited. What more is there to say? Some like it, some don't- there's no real problem with it either way since personal property and taste are always personal.

P.S.- someone should have used this:

IMO the sky is the limit on any mod on any razor new or vintage and more power to anyone who wants to mod any razor. To those like Seraphim that have the gumption to modify blades, please keep it up and please keep posting pics! I think it's exciting. Creativity is exciting.

Not that it matters, but I would consider myself a traditionalist and in regard to THIS mod, it's not my taste, but....my first statement above still stands!

I'm stuck in the middle here! I LOVE the way that razor looks!! Your modifications add that certain "something" to the blade, gives it that "IT"!!! BUT, I also am quickly becoming a Wade & Butcher fan and think they stand alone in a class all by themselves and need no modifications. But still awesome work!!! And with a Dremmel?! That makes it the work even that more impressive!

For what it's worth I do respect your obvious talent and hope that you continue!

One of the best parts about working on blades is that you get to experiment and create. I think your doing great stuff!

Now with scales

Thats one tough looking W&B!

I was 50/50 on it before scales...I love the creative, "out ther" look of it...the cutting edge and all that. The other half of me likes things traditional usually....

Now that I see it with the scales...I'm 100% a fan...GREAT work. Really wonderful looking razor.
