Couple Custom Preview Pics
!!!PLEASE NOTE!!! These pics aren't of razors I'd sell. They still have some imperfections which I have since figured out how to improve (such as the maker's mark stamping depth), but I just wanted to show a little of what I've been working on. The dark tang on one and spots on the other are from heat treating (I didn't take the time to fully remove all scale/oxidation. So these are basically practice.
Sorry the pictures aren't great- it's tough to just photograph a blade alone. Unfortunately the pictures don't even come close to capturing how they look in person.
I've been shaving with the one in the mock-up scales and it shaves as well as any other razor I've used. Both are made from O1.

Great stuff, Alex. Thanks for posting these. I like the blade designs.

I like the first one BEFORE polishing, I like the dark spot on the tang, would love to see more on tang and some on the spine, even on blade face would be cool to me. that rugged forged rough look. excellent work, can't wait to see more.

Thank you for showing us your work, I like seeing the in progress and prototypes pics. I like the way the hole looks in the blade it is reminiscent of a cleaver. I like the lines of your razors.
