The Silver Star By Max
I bought this razor on UK e bay a year or so ago , it was a total wreck, really dirty and stained, fit only for the trash when it arrived. I wanted to persevere for two reasons, firstly because it was unusual and secondly I loved the name "Silver Star".
A decision was made to employ the "High priest" or Za'ayin Gadol" as we say in Hebrew, of razor restoration, in the form of Mad Max.
He did exactly as I asked retaining the etching on the blade as but still cleaning it to a very high standard, the scales quite frankly are a miracle , they were so badly stained yet I was insistent on keeping them.
Sadly I have no before pictures, but believe me another amazing job by Max.
If anybody has any knowledge or history about the Silver Star razor I'd appreciate it

I'm curious, did Max repin the scales? The pins look original to me. Nice looking razor. Enjoy.

Congrats. I can imagine the state that was in.
Mad job by the Maxstro. !The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
