    Only ever seen “The Old English Razor” on Frederick Reynolds blades.

    The scales really do fit the razor, and looks like it was made that way… and I would bet good money it shaves as well as it looks… and seems to be well on it way to become a family heirloom... beginning with this “rebirth”.

    Having it in hand we could see that it was a rescale. Somebody must have liked the blade enough to rescale it. The blade does look like it was made this way nut the center of the blade is thicker than the spine even before I started working on it. It's making honing it a real pita. I'll sped some more tome on it later today and see if I can get an edge on it.
