Default Restored Smiling Wedge in Cocobolo wood

Before and after picks of the restoration of an unknown smiling wedge. Cocobolo wood finished with Lemon oil and polished. Acrylic black/white marbled wedge.
Domed washers in stainless and nickle silver pins.

Spent some quality time with my new mistresses Ms Buff and Ms Polish. Special thanks to Lynn for the time spent on the phone discussing techniques and tools.

Scale design by CarrieM and JrJoeD, this was a family project that we all enjoyed. Pictures my JrJoeD.

Wow, that is an excellent blade restore, and a unique, and very cool take on scale design!

Love the one of a kind blade shape, and how you polished it up, really looks wonderful.

Mmm, purty! Love that blade shape, especially the tail. Nice work with the scale shape too - simple but they compliment the blade shape nicely.

Outstanding work Joe. It always amazes me how a blade can be brought back to life after looking so bad. (Nice pictures, JrJoe.)
