Thread: Vintage Restore - Super Kama 6/8+ Round point

This is one I decided to take back to original or as close as I could get it anyway ...

A Koch & Schafer #99 Super Kama 6/8+ Round point full hollow grind...
This one was a little neglected but in good shape other than cosmetically... there is near zero hone wear on this one...

I took the razor completely apart and cleaned it up inside and outside, the blade was polished back up on the buffers... I lost the etch that said Super Kama but the polish came out near perfect...
I cleaned up the scales, put in vintage bearing washers and re-pinned all three pins in vintage style brass so they all match...

If you haven't ever shaved with one of these razors, you have missed a treat, they have some of the smoothest steel you will find out there...
