    Default 8/8 Friodur / Zircote' wood / Re-scale

Another Henckles Friodur coming out party
Took off the plain jane, black plastic, wrong sized scales, that these get issued, Dan/Blue asked me to use Zircote' wood which is one of my favorites to work with...

I have done so many of these now that I pretty much know exactly how to get them to come together right, and balance out, not bragging, just the more you do the easier it gets...

I used all brass hardware, as requested nothing too fancy, but I did sneak in a decorated centerpost for the third pin hope ya like it when you see it... I didn't take a pic so it will be a surprise.. I used a Faux Ivory wedge to set off the dark wood, that was a little different and I like the effect... The finish is 7 coats of Tru-Oil after a wash coat to start...

    Fantastic!

I'm glad to see you still remember how to make them out of wood.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I miss the G brother's wooden scales. Sure his acrylics are popping but G's roots still lay in the gorgeous woods he always masters to produce.

As always G, love to see y'a work! Zircote-G rules.

    I love seeing these!

The blade/wood contrast is nice - great job.
