I just picked her up today and I have to definitively agree. This came out far beyond what I was expecting. It's seriously top shelf work.

I've always loved the look of Ziricote. I used to have a guitar neck that had some for the fingerboard. I was very happy to hear that Glen not only had some in stock, but was fond of working with it. It became obvious the second I touched the finished wood that he was not putting on some act. Beautiful, just beautiful.

The third pin is quite ordinary from the outside, but is quite elegant on the inside. It's a perfect finishing touch on this job, which just goes to show his level of quality and attention to detail.

Glen has also been great to deal with throughout this whole endeavor. A perfect gentleman with great patience and reasonable prices.

Just shaved with her too........definitely a keeper.

That's a great shape with the figuring of the wood. I love the wood/brass contrast. Well done as usual!
